I have learned that people see lawyers for the same reason they see dentists: They are either in trouble and want to get out of it, or they are not in trouble and want to stay out of it. My objective and success in practicing law has been in helping people achieve both. I enjoy this.

The North Coast Environmental Law Office holds itself to the highest standards of professionalism. The office represents only clients who are dedicated to achieving regulatory compliance under the law, and I do so with the zealous advocacy required of properly ethical, state-licensed attorneys.

I work only with fully competent consultants who consistently produce solid work product. I do not take clients who are interested in beating the system or in cutting corners.

Long experience on both sides of the enforcement fence has taught me that proactively working with regulators is the best way to achieve success for the client. Understanding what is required, what is desired, and how to deliver it to an agency’s satisfaction is the first half. A client who understands that cooperating yields better results than not cooperating is the second half.
